The Southern Capital Conference is an annual meeting where limited partners, placement agents, consultants and gatekeepers from across the country come to build and extend relationships with general partners in the Southeastern private equity community.  The conference venue, the Ritz Carlton Lodge on Lake Oconee outside Atlanta, provides an ideal setting where participants can interact and discuss regional and national trends that impact investors in the Southeastern buyout and venture capital communities.

This year’s conference will be attended by 50+ Southeastern-based GPs with more than $20 billion under management, as well as 30+ leading Limited Partners from across the United States.  Speakers include The Honorable Dick Gephardt and A.D. “Pete” Correll, the former CEO of Georgia-Pacific and founding partner of Atlanta Equity Partners. Panelists include representatives from AlpInvest, CSFB, HarbourVest, Parish Capital, the University of Richmond and Vanderbilt University.
